Complex Chronic Illness & Recovery

After a total colectomy in 2013, I suffered from multiple ongoing symptoms for 12 years. Various medications only caused more side effects, and I was unable to work or live a normal life. In May 2025, hospital tests revealed multiple blood clots in my heart and lungs. I was extremely weak, breathless with minimal movement, and experienced constant palpitations. I felt hopeless. ME / Chronic Pain

Facial Paralysis (Bell’s Palsy)

Stroke Rehabilitation

I had a stroke two years ago and was unable to move the left side of my body. My left arm, leg, and tongue were difficult to control, and my body felt extremely heavy on one side. I received 45 acupuncture sessions at a rehabilitation centre with no improvement. Dr Annie is truly remarkable. At my first visit, I told her that I was getting up to urinate 8–9 times every night.
